Students are expected to attend all scheduled class sessions and actively participate in the learning experience. When circumstances prevent a student from attending a live class, a class playback may be made available upon written request, subject to institutional approval.
Students who complete coursework through a class playback are held to the same academic standards and assignment deadlines as students attending live instruction. All homework, projects, quizzes, assessments, and other required coursework must be submitted by the same deadlines established for the live class. No extensions or exceptions will be granted solely because a student utilized the playback option.
To support student success, The GPS Initiative offers weekly Office Hours as a live academic coaching and support session. Office Hours are held every Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and provide students with the opportunity to ask questions, receive clarification on course concepts, discuss assignments, obtain academic guidance, and receive individualized support.
While attendance is optional, students are strongly encouraged to participate whenever they need additional assistance or desire deeper engagement with course material. Students should come prepared with specific questions, assignments, or topics they would like to discuss to make the most of their coaching session.
